How to reach an agreement before divorcing
If you are struggling with your spouse to come to a mutual agreement in a divorce a good place to start to is to create a Separation Agreement.
A Separation Agreement can state all of the specific items that each party would like, such as division of assets, child custody, and specific visitation agreements.
Once a Separation Agreement is created and both parties agree to follow what is stated this will make the process of creating a mutual agreement divorce easier.
To make a Separation Agreement to be carried forward for a divorce please see the attached template.
Since every situation will be different this template offers options that may not be applicable to your situation, in that case, they can be deleted or adjusted.
